Refunds & Exchanges

Our goal is to be sure you and your little ones enjoy your Hemming Birds items!

For any return, exchange, or question please begin by emailing us at info(at)hemming-birds.com.

  • Returns:
    • We are able to accept returns or exchanges of unopened, unused products within 30 days of purchase. 
    • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. It is OK if the outer shipping box is not intact. 
    • To begin the return or exchange process, email info(at)hemming-birds.com with your order number and reason for return and we will be happy to assist you.
  • Refunds:
    • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
    • If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. If your refund is rejected, you will be contacted by info(at)hemming-birds.com.
  • Late or missing refunds:
    • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first please contact your bank, credit card company, or whatever payment service was used to pay for your order.  Sometimes it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
    • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@hemming-birds.com.
  • Exchanges: 
    • We accept exchanges of unused, opened products within 30 days of purchase (please email us at info@hemming-birds.com and we will gladly assist you).
    • For exchange of product purchaser is responsible for covering the cost of shipping items back to Hemming Birds - we will cover the cost of shipping new items to you.
    • For an exchange of a broken or defective item Hemming Birds will cover 100% of shipping costs of returning the item and shipping of a new item. 
  • Gifts Exchanges.
    • Unfortunately we are unable to refund gift purchases for money.
    • For gifts shipped directly to recipients we offer two options:
      • Gift Card: you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return.
      • Exchange: we can assist you in exchanging the products for different items. We do ask that you cover return shipping of items back to HB, we will cover the cost of shipping new items to you. 
  • Return/Refund Shipping:
    • To return items please mail them to: 9 Stocker Drive Charleston, SC 29407.  
    • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable and if you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
    • If you are exchanging a defective item, Hemming Birds will refund you the cost of shipping. 
    • If you are shipping an item over $75, please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
